Painting Skills and Techniques at Mill Studio Arts is a comprehensive program designed for aspiring artists looking to advance their skills across various painting mediums. Throughout the year, students engage in specially designed units focusing on watercolor, gouache, and acrylic paints. Led by experienced painters, students develop exceptional skills in color mixing and matching, rendering three-dimensional form, paint application, and brushwork. Each quarter, students complete practice pieces and finished paintings that are showcased in our art shows, allowing them to exhibit their progress and creativity.
