Service Description

A comprehensive art program designed to deepen understanding of the impact that art has had on civilization while nurturing each student's artistic voice. This year-long program runs from September to May and is divided into quarters, each exploring segments of art history, cultural connections, and applied art-making approaches. Students develop personal portfolios that showcase targeted exercises and final works. Students gain proficiency in drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture skills that are exhibited at quarterly art shows. We end each studio year with an exploration into creative careers that enlighten students to the vast and diverse applications of creativity in the professional world.
