My Ice Cream Bowl Workshop

Service Description

This special community workshop, made possible by generous sponsorship of Saco and Biddeford Savings Institution, celebrates small local businesses through and creativity through community! On August 21st Mill Studio Arts will collaborate with the Saco Scoop and the Swell Patio to offer a children's ceramics workshop in the park! Participants will learn to sculpt and make their very own ice cream bowl out of clay. Children will make and glaze their artwork and then celebrate their creativity with a free ice cream cone at the Saco Scoop. Finished ceramic bowls will need to be left for firing and will be ready for pick up at the Saco Scoop within two weeks. A reminder email will go out to participants for pick up dates and times. Space is very limited. All supplies are included. Please only register if you are sure you can attend. Each registration is for one child ages 6 and up. We can't wait to get creating in the park together!
