Service Description

With the Homeschool Bundle kids participate in the Homeschool Art Group lessons, then stay for a group lunch from 11:30-12:00 at the studio and then participate in Homeschool Clay. It's a full three and a half hours of fun and friends at the studio! Homeschool Art Group Is our multidisciplinary program that ignites creativity through fresh, fun projects inspired by real artists. Each week students explore new artists and work to create their own masterpieces with personal meaning and unique style. Students gain skills working with paint, drawing media, collage, printmaking and sculptural materials. Every eight-week quarter introduces kids to a sampling of both 2D and 3D media and practices that will stretch and strengthen even the most creative mind. It’s the class that truly explores all that art can be! Homeschool Clay introduces kids to the fun and expressive world of ceramic arts. Students explore various techniques including clay sculpting, hand-building, slab work, and relief work. Projects are designed to build basic skills with clay tool and develop an understanding of the ceramics process. In addition to hand-building, students are introduced to the potter’s wheel through one-on-one wheel sessions. Each student will create several finished pieces that are glazed, fired and food safe. Working with clay invites a sensory experience that is grounding, focus producing and expressive. The perfect activity for creative, active, hands-on learners. Clay students come to the studio to create with joy and delight! *Please dress for a mess! Even though we cover up with aprons before lessons, there is always a chance for paint and other materials that stain to get on children’s clothing. We want our students to feel comfortable when they’re at the studio to create freely without worry of ruining favorite clothes. Refund policy: Any refund or change requested after booking is subject to an 8% processing fee. Refunds will be processes in full, minus the processing fee from the time of booking until 14 days prior to lesson start date. No refunds are given after 14 days prior to lesson start date. No discounts can be applied, refunded, or credited after registration has been processed. If it is decided by staff, after consideration of the studio behavior policy, that a student can no longer attend art lessons a full refund for lessons that cannot be attended will be made. No refunds will be given for missed lessons.
